    Hey guys,

Just got a GPS module for my cf-28 and I feel like it's missing something. There were no install instructions.

It's been a while since I messed with a CF-28 but those look like the right parts. The antenna (right pic) should have a coax antenna wire. Turn the CF-28 upside down, remove the battery cover and battery. The board fits underneath the battery to one side, and you need to remove a side panel and replace it with the GPS antenna unit. I don't have a CF-28 in front of me to see exactly how the ribbon cable fits, but it should only plug one way into the motherboard.

If you look at the bottom right of the board there's a header there where different connections go...there's a 3.3v connection, rx/TX connection..etc. are these just for optional additions?

Yes, I think those are for an optional cell modem.
