Hi I've owned a CF 29 for about three years now. I like the computer a lot but about a year ago it started getting a blue screen at random times. Sometimes it seemed to blue screen on me as I was attempting to connect to a wireless network. I have kept the machine updated and I believe I have the latest drivers for the Intel ProSet wireless device. It still bluescreens on me occasionally and was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and how it can be solved (if at all). I did replace the removable memory chip but I understand there is a non-removable memory module permanently attached to the motherboard that may be at fault? Anyhow would like to hear from anyone familiar with this problem and I would REALLY like to hear from anyone who has fixed it!

Welcome to the forum...If it is indeed the onboard ram then there is not much you can do about it. Try running this free program " memtest86 " Memtest86 3.4a - Yahoo! Hosted Search Results to see if it bad and then get back to us on how you made out. Also post your full model # CF-29???????

Un-install the intel proset connection utility and configure windows to manage your connections
