Got a CF29 mk3 that's giving me a red light on the battery but I know for a fact that the battery that in there is a good battery. Could this be a problem with the charging board that connects onto the mobo or would this be a bad motherboard. The battery that's in it gives me the blinking red light but I put the battery in a different computer and it works just fine. Lemme know what you guys think

Try more than one battery, just to be sure
Make sure that the dc in jack is making a good connection by wiggling it
If it still flashes red then you are correct on the charging system fault

Tried 6 different batteries that i know hold a charge and wiggled the plug and it still does it so I'm gonna change out that little board and I'll report back with the outcome. Thanks TomCat

Replaced the board and it's charging fine now. it seemed like the port where the battery plugs into was all fouled up with some corrosion. Got alot of these guys with spill damage on them. SAPD loves their coffee.
