This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     CF 29 cd/dvd rom?

    Do the CD roms on the cf-29h models only play cds? For whatever reason, mine don't recognize rewritable CDs or DVDs.

    The Base model CD Roms only read CDs... They do not write CDs or read or write to DVDs... You'll need a DVD Rom to write to CD and read DVD and a DVD R/W to do it all.... This is an easy hack to do and is covered in the sticky section I think. It was one of the first ones I posted...
