After dismantling the CF 30, the ribbon has been misplaced i wasnt able to find any online

I have a larger ribbon that i could trim down to size but dont know how many pins it had and how close the pins are together

Any idea where i could find out such information is much appreciated

Teo KNOWS! whereas I guess. :) The SD PCB plugs into the mobo in a socket with 8 leads. I have a picture. I would guess the connector on the SD PCB is 8. I have a link to a MK2 manual. Commercial vendor. I can't find a part number yet. Still looking.

All I have out (tore apart) right now is a replacement(stripped) mobo for a MK1 with no daughterboards or pcb's attached.

Terminology is my worst enemy. ((hmmm poetic :))

You need a SD FPC. I probably have one to fit something.

Do you have a picture? A lot of the connectors actually say how many leads are involved.

My picture did not turn out. :(

Ok! got it! Sorry, man! just got a bit of a drink. Its 12C or 12pin with 0.05mm pitch(0.5mm, correction). As you said you have an spare with extra more conductor. It can be cut it out as what I've done when I can't find a replacement but you have to make sure if the open end is on the same side or in opposite. I beleived its opposite side but verify it first.
