    I hope the pictures explain it. It is really simple to do. I modded it so the drive and silicone caddy sit in place and the hard plastic is just a cover. This is the way the CF 48 is setup.
    I did end up putting a 3/16 inch thick piece of weatherstripping between the drive and the CF 50 body. Without it there was a slight bit of tension on the sata adapter. On the drives I used, there is an air hole on top. Make sure you don't block it.
    You also need to trim the silicone drive caddy opening about 3/16 on one side to allow the sata adapter to fit flush.
    Remember this worked for me, but your mileage may vary. If you let the magic smoke out of something, it's on your shoulders.
