Anyone ever try this? I have a CF51 floppy but it won't fit the whole way in on the CF 52. There is a small piece of plastic that's on the rear of the drive beside the connector. Easy to trim it off, but I don't want to guinea pig my personal CF 52. Afraid I'll toast a motherboard fuse.
I'll post some photos later.

The floppy drive or the CF-30 must be modified to fit, I forget which. After that, it will not work in a CF-30.

Sorry, but I am confused by your answer.
To be clear for me. If I modify it (the drive is easiest) it will fit in the CF 30.
Once it is modified, it will FIT, but it will NOT work. CORRECT??
I am guessing the bios isn't programmed for the internal floppy? -

The only floppy in my CF-30MK1 BIOS is a " USB Floppy"
