hey all ,
does anyone have any info on how to reset the stuporvisor password in an '08 ?
(other than "contact field support")

ok ... and filed under the "weird but i'll take it" category ...
i tried a reset sequence that did not appear to work .
then i messed with the thing and in the process rebooted it a couple of times .
for fun i tried logging in without any password ... it now worked !
so , i am in (at least i think so) .
now i need to figure out how to sync it up to my '31 or '19 .
not knowing a lot about these things (as in zip) i would like to eventually run it as a stand alone gps machine .
it has windows CE ... is it possible to run a 'nix flavor on these units ? -
We are not permitted to discuss password stuff on NBR.
Hint---Try TBT (that "other" board)
Here are 2 threads with some good info

yep ... i realize that it is verboten to try to circumvent the commonly available knowledge .
i tried some things i found googling that were "... push these buttons ..." .
i finally/accidentally managed to log on .
now , i need a set of destructions in order to boot into bios and other things .
i have no real clue as to how these work and information seems a little sparse .
i have a notion that these were not near as popular as the genuine laptop CF machines .
i have a cunning plan (see the *black adder* series for reference) involving this , a '19 and a cessna 310 C .Last edited: Jun 17, 2017 -
