    Hi All
    I was wondering if anyone can help i want a new battery for my CF-18 i placed an order with http://www.batteryrebuild.com a month ago have not heared anything off them? I was wondering if i was better just ordering a new aftermarket battery? Dose anyone know of a supplier of aftermarket batteries that will ship to Australia as the Australian Suppliers are charging $350-$400 for an aftermarket battery. Any advise would be great.... :confused:

    I am sure there are better ways to go than to just pony up $400 for a battery! There is a company that advertises on ebay that is based in California. I think they ship only to USA on their auctions but ship worldwide off their website.

    The Toughbooks cannot be rebuilt by the home do-it-yourselfer as they need to be reprogrammed.

    I bought mine from battery rebuild. They *are* slow to fill orders - give them another week. They will e' you when they ship. My guess is they are waiting for "cores" to be returned/rebuilt (?) No idea how well it works yet. I'm just breaking it in.

    For the CF-18, new OE batteries are still available. I believe I paid about $140 for mine. Don't know if they would ship to AUS though.

    I have tried batteryrefill.com multiple times. I have to stay I started liking them at first, but have since done a 180 on them. They are TOO slow and their work is 30% at best. Meaning 3 out of 10 batteries you get will work correctly at best.

    I only remember batteryrefill.com. They are out of southern cali, but have gone WAYYYYY down hill.

    http://www.batteryrebuild.com the price was $89 plus $10 shipping which was a great price shame about the service though...
