    Hi All,
Just bought myself a cheap cf-18. The reason it was cheap is because it didnt work and there are no recovery discs. I will be using the laptop for work as i need something that will cope with the great oudoors as i'm sick of breaking laptops due to rain and dust etc.
The laptop would not boot up when i got it, so i installed a copy of windows professional black edition version 5 and it now works fine but it looks like i need some drivers for all the functions to work. I have been on various sites ie- panasonic etc but could not find anything to match my model. It is a
CF-18 FHHZBBE. Am i correct in thinking that this is one of the first models? and if so does that make mine a mk1?
    questions --------
can i get the drivers for the screen anywhere? as it will not work with the screen closed (using the stylus)
will it work ok with the os that i installed?
    does my toughbook have bluetooth?
just on downloading windows xp tablet, will that be better than the os that i am using?
Is there anywhere that i can obtain a copy of the recovery discs?

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Jim.

That is an MK2, try on panasonic canada site. There is no problem installing an xp black edition as long as you installed all the drivers for the unit and yes! it has a bluetooth builtin but i don't know if there are some mod. done by the prev... owner.

I still have all the drivers for MK2 and if you need it I can send it to you thru your e-mail

Just found this link and according to this, my toughbook is a MK3.
    http://www.shopzilla.co.uk/9L--Panasonic_ToughBook_CF18Mk3_Touch_screen_-_cat_id--13969__prod_id--330261730
Still cant find the drivers anywhere. Not even on the Canadian or Australian sites, So if the offer is still open could you please email me the drivers.
    Thanks Jim.
