    Hi,
I've managed to find drivers for the MC75 that Windows 7 seems happy with, and I can create and can set up a new dial-up connection profile using it. However, when I try to connect by dialling *99# or *99****1# which seem to be the numbers people say to use, using the UK 3-Mobile SIM from my phone in the SIM slot, I get an Error 692. Does anyone know if this is because the modem is faulty, my SIM isn't compatible, or there's some other configuration that needs setting?

No great loss if I can't get it working, but as it's there, I'd like to be able to use it ;)

    hello,

new toughbook owner, would be very pleased to get a link to the driver that worked for you.

    thanks.

edit: also are you using checknet software or just trying through windows control panel?

Edit2: seems I had it working the whole time!!! i was just using a dud sim card. I havnt managed with calls but have sent and received text messages using checknet.

    Any progess yourself?
