This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    CF-18 Replacement HD

    I've been given a CF-18BDAFXME.
    The intention is just to use it on vacation principally when visiting the USA.

    It needs a new HD and it appears a Hitachi Travelstar is fitted.
    Does anyone know if there is a size limit. I think the current one was 40gb and frankly I don't need any more than that but the minimum seems to be 80gb nowadays.
