    Hi Guy's,

So I found a spare HDD and decided to try out W7 on my Toughbook (detailed below)

I spend most of Saturday half watching Woody Allen on TV and trying out every hint and driver talked about on this forum including the Vista set etc

So far I have managed to get Everything working (including the tricky intel video drivers - which kept rolling back - but now OK including rotation etc)

There is just one unknown device on the hardware list which relates to 'hotkeys'
None of the buttons on the front of the PC work (apart from brightness controls)
And the touch screen is not recognized by windows and does not work

I was - I think - unable to find a set of misc drivers that would install - even trying to expand using 7-zip etc

Can anyone help me out with which drivers to try again . . or any other tips on the touchscreen etc

    Regards
    Charlotte

Ps. my heart goes out to you guys in the states - saw those awful car crashes on TV this morning . . and we thought we had bad weather here in the UK!

did you install the tablet pc buttons, hotkey driver, hotkey appendix, and hotkey settings? If not download them and try. I understand you need all of those installed in that order plus the panasonic misc. Use winrar to extract, I don't think 7zip works on the panasonic exe. files. after and if you get those to install install the touchscreen driver. Do you have that? I feel your pain. It took me a whole weekend on my CF-19 installing and uninstalling drivers. In the end my brightness FN is the only thing not working so I quit. It was not worth the effort. The thing is they have to be installed in a certain order and if you deviate you could have problems.

Hi, I also want to install W7 on my CF18D, any chance you could post the link to the driver download page?

    Charlotte,
Did the auto-rotation when you put the screen in the tablet position work?
