So I figured out that the hard drive completely crashed on my. Won't spin up, nothing.
I don't have any backups, original disks . . nothing.
I have a version of XP Tablet 2005.

ISO, burnt to disk, tried making a bootable USB, hooked up a CD drive USB, nothing.
Tried copying over the files to the hard drive externally, nothing.
Made the hard drive bootable, primary partition and everything, nothing.

I recently noticed there is no place in my BIOS to boot from USB.

Is there a way to put the files on the Hard Drive so that everything is already on there or do i have to actually install Windoze on the disk?
This has been a problem for a few weeks now and i've looked on numerous forums but haven't found a proper solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks in advance.

    It's a CF-18BDAZXMM btw.

Hook up the new drive in an usb housing to a different computer. Load all your OS files to the new drive. Make sure the new drive is bootable. Install the new drive in the cf18. Boot it and manually run the OS install files

Did you copy all hidden files? What happens when you boot the new hard drive?

    BOOTMGR is missing.

Now, I had copied over everything before but the BOOT folder was named [BOOT] before and renamed it.
I'll EDIT once I name it back, i can't remember the error right now.. BRB

I had a simular problem with my CF-18 mark 1... I posted the solution last year or so. Anyhow, i try to write it down in this topic (from my memory)

    1 - remove power from your CF-18
    2 - Remove harddrive
    3 - connect bootable USB-drive or USB-CD-rom
4 - connect power to your CF-18 and start CF-18.
( as there is no harddrive connected, the CF-18 will boot from the USB thumbdrive or USB Cd-rom)
5 - now turn power off, and remove power cord from your CF-18
    6 - insert harddrive
    7 - connect bootable USB-drive or USB -cd-rom
    8 - turn power on.
    9 - The CF-18 will boot from the USB-drive or USB-cd-rom
10 - Install the operation system of your choise.

IT worked with my CF-18 mark 1 (900mhz) machine.
