Hi all,
I recently decided to clean the keyboard on my CF18KHH64BE after years of good service.
It looks like the Keyboard wasn't as moisture resistant as i thought, as it has a few problems.

Very similar to that guy, and this is what happens.
Right shift stuck down on a restart, pressing it via the software keyboard seems to get it working again.
Up Arrow, CTRL, Esc, F2, F4, F6,F7 F9,F11,F12 all non working
Everything else seems to work now, but there are some odd side effects left over.
Left shift works, 3 works, but press left shift, then 3, and it doesn't.
As for the right shift, pressing it does nothing on the keyboard, but if i press right arrow and down arrow, it will work...
I've attempted reinstalling the keyboard driver, and no change, i tried to find any others, but nothing - no regular drivers seem to be about just for the keyboard.
Keyboard testing was done with passmark.com Keyboard Tester.
Getting a replacement is next to impossible too, It's a UK keyboard, which makes it rarer, and there is no official Panasonic Toughbook support in the UK. I've searched, and found a spares/parts UK site, but they avoid all mention of the toughbooks.
Has anyone else seen or fixed/knows the cause of the stuck shift?
The other thread talks about it like a common occurrence but i can't find anything on a search of "shift" in the Panasonic forum.
Failing that, does anyone know of any replacement keyboards?
Ebay is listing some great cheap ones right now in Australia, but these are of course the US type. Great for you guys though.
Thanks in advance

Other general spec...
120Gb HD,
1.49Gb ram - ie max
Bluetooth, wifi, touchscreen, MC75 Siemens modem, but i can only get it to send/recieve text messages at the moment.
SD card reader
Batteries - 2 which even though being years old still run for about 3 hours each, maybe even a little longer.
OS, "my computer>properties" says xp tablet pc 2005, version 2002, SP3
Generally everything works, IDRot.exe starts up on boot, but doesn't work unless you run it again from the program menu so running twice, the screen orientation button on the front end doesn't do anything now either, although i had a feeling it used to.
It's a great bit of kit, even with 1.2Ghz, it keeps up with everything i ask it.
It's just a shame i pushed it too far...
