Following a HD replacement, I was struggling to get the touchscreen working again. I've now got the touchscreen working but I can't get it to correctly calibrate. I have been through the calibration process, by clicking on the 9 points. However, the calibration varies across the screen. On the right hand edge of the screen the calibration is spot on. As I move the stylus/finger left, the calibration is out, to the point that the cursor is about an inch out (to the left) in the centre of the screen. If I click on the bottom left of the screen, the cursor is off the screen to the left and bottom.

If I use the calibration test app, drawing a straight line down the left hand side of the screen shows that the discrepancy is less in the middle than top or bottom.

Is this likely to be a problem with the sensors? Do I need to remove the screen bezel to properly clean the screen edge?

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks, Malcolm
