Long story short. Sent my CF-52 off to get some issues fixed. Courier company lost notebook. Vendor is agreeing to replace with CF-18 or CF-52. Thoughts would be appreciated. Computer is used in automotive workshop.

Well the CF-18 is a good machine, BUT isn't nearly as powerful as a CF-52. CF-18 is fully rugged, intergrated intel graphics, 1.25 to 1.5 gb max, ide harddrive interface, intel pentium M single core. CF-52 semi-rugged, intergrated graphics or dedicated graphics depending on the model, 4gb to 8 gb max depending on the model, 1.8 core 2 duo up to new I5 models, sata hard drives. The CF-52 is a generation newer model. A fairer comparison would be a CF-19 model vs 52. Personally if a 52 was working before I would get another one compared to the 18 model.
(do you know the model or specs to the CF-52 they lost???) -

No matter how much I like the 18/19 model, in this case a 52 would be much faster and newer. If you could try to get a 19 mk2...
