New CF-18 arrived yesterday, system sees my wireless router (which is at full strength) but won't allow me to connect, says is no longer there or is out of range. I can connect using a wireless PMC1A card, have similar problem with a HP4010.

Is there away round this or is it a chipset problem?

    Cheers

What card is installed? Is Zero Configuration set to auto and enabled? Is Microsoft set to be the program to handle the wireless? Aer there any other wireless programs installed?

Sorted, PC came with the adapter card not configured for the 'g' router. Went into adapter settings- advanced-wireless mode and chose the correct mode for my wireless router, am now connected.

    Thanks
