    Hi to all,

This is my very first post.

I bought an excellent condition CF-18 (model CF-18FHHZBLT), but unfortunately the recovery CDs are missing. Do you know where I can find/buy them? I also have a Win licence to use. My intentions are to completely erase the laptop then reinstall the fresh software from start.

I'm sorry but you are out of luck
The cf-18 mk-3 disks will probably not be available from the Panasonic parts distributors as its a older model
You have to use a windows disk with your licence key and then download the drivers
Use the forum search for cf-18 and you will find postson how to reload windows
I will post a couple of links later

    Matteo,
Heartlands had MK4 restore disks a couple of weeks ago. You will have to get a friend in the US to buy them and ship them on to you if they have them.

You can still get a mk3 recovery cd. I live in Sweden and contacted Panasonic about 2 weeks ago, to try get a recovery cd. They redirected me to their service partner in Sweden ( http://www.setek.se/en/index.html ). So i contacted them and there was no problem getting a Recovery CD. I haven't got it yet, i only got the invoice so far. But it should arrive soon. The cost was 460 SEK (VAT not included), thats about 56 USD. I also ordered a Swedish keyboard for 700 SEK (VAT not included) thats about 85 USD. I have a CF-18FHAZABM.

    Thanks a lot!

I contacted Panasonic here in Italy but they didn't have the disks for that model.

Try to contact them (Setek), they might ship the cd:s to you. They are bad at replying to e-mails, to my knowledge.
