I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 and a replacement keyboard. I cannot figure out how to take the rubber keyboard off to put the replacement keyboard on. Can anybody provide instructions for me?

    Thanks!

To the back of the keyboard are 4 black screws going downward into the cabinet. Remove those 4. They hold down two little plates which should come loose after the screws are off; remove those too. You should be able to take a flathead screwdriver and pry up the keyboard from the back, tilting it toward the front. Under the keyboard is a silver plate held down by 3 silver screws; remove those. There should be 2 cables going from the keyboard into that hole. The smaller of the cables should just pull right out while the larger one is in a clasp kind of connector. Take something small and pull up the two sides (carefully) and the cable should come out nice 'n easy.
