    CF-19 MK1 Recovery Disc

    Hi
    Hoping someone can help.
    I recently bought off Ebay a recovery disc for my CF-19 Mk1.
    The disc is marked "DFQX4054KAE" and "MK1-XP2M-TSW" which I am hoping is for a MK1 with touchscreen.
    My COA sticker shows "DFQX3993XB" - Is it compatible?
    Before I format the hard drive for a clean install, i want to be sure that I have the right disc.
    Model no is CF-19CHBCFBE.
    Touchscreen, Bluetooth, GPS and Novatel Wireless.
    Thanks for any help.

    That disc is for a touchscreen Mk1. The DFQX numbers do not necessarily match, most don't. The only problem may be the "E". Boot from the recovery disc. If the disc won't work, it will let you know before anything is changed on the HDD. The WWAN software is not included on the recovery disc.

    I just checked my restore disk list and I see two for yours. What's the difference.....good question. I have many toughbooks and none of the numbers on the COA matches my list but the CD's work :confused:
