I fixed this see my LAST POST

I upgraded a CF-19 mk2 with a fresh install of Win7 pro 64 bit and a SSD drive and everything works with no unknown devices in device manager, However the front buttons for rotate and keyboard do not work.
Does anyone have any idea what this may be ?
I did use the driver bundle to install the drivers.

    Model Number : CF-19FLLC2AM
    Status : DISCONTINUED MSRP : $4,599
Description: WinXP (Vista COA), Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06Ghz (Centrino), 10.4" XGA Touch, 80GB, 2GB, Intel WiFi a/b/g/n, Dual Pass (Upper/WWAN, Lower/Fast GPS-3W), TPM Bluetooth, Verizon EVDO Rev A, Fast GPS-3W, No Drive

That same problem has come up a lot these last few months and they all have been W7 64bit. Myself I don't run 64bit on my CF-19 because its just not needed. Hopefully later on some one can help you out

    Thank You
I have been all over the WEB, and have seen the issue. I went 64bit for the speed I use a tuning software on this and it just works better in 64 bit.
Can always use the the CTRL ALT arrow keys

That is what i did to do the install I installed Win 7 64 bit service pack 1 then ran the driver bundle for 64 bit win 7 mk2. I did run as Admin
how ever I have that one issue with no unknowns in device manager.
I could run the bundle again but sure dont want to screw it up

    Got it fixed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I checked the driver install log in the Window/temp/Paninstall to be sure the Meitbtn and the Meitbman installed correctly which the log indicated it did.
For some reason on a 64 bit install all the registry keys did not get written !

I started looking in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TabletPC
I noticed there was only 2 entries there I figured that could not be right as there was no mapping, so I compared it to the MeiTBSet registry file that is in the Panisonic drivers, Sure enough the registry keys were not written to the Registry
I double Clicked that registry file to add them I now have all functions........
Under Tablet PC you should see five folders in the registry if not your buttons wont work..
    Button Actions
    Display Orientations
    ExtendendedButtonActions
    TabletButtons
    UseLinearityData

I hope this helps someone else

Just checked my control panel/tablet pc settings and I now have a Buttons Tab which will allow me to make changes if nessasary

My front buttons still do not work. I have the first four entries in the registry. I do not have the UserLinearityData. What does that entry specify? Any ideas?

UserLinearityData has to do with oriantation , if you hit control / alt, up arrow, right arrow does your rotation change ?
Also if you go into control panel and tablet pc settings do you have a buttons tab ?

    Yes to both questions.

Are there settings that need to be changed on the buttons tab?

Check the driver install log in the Window/temp/Paninstall See if any of the drivers failed to load
Also do you have any unknown devices in Device Manager ?

That's it. The Tablet Buttons driver did not install. I updated it manually and now the buttons work. The UserLinearityData key is now present.

A separate issue I had. I have a Gobi1000 card in my CF-19. I installed W7 64bit with the driver bundle. When I tried to install the Panasonic CSA it would fail at installing the Wireless Switch utility and roll back the installation. The solution is to uninstall the WS utility included with the driver bundle. Install the CSA. Uninstall the WS utility installed by the CSA and reinstall the WS utility in the driver bundle.

    Thanks for your help.
