    I just got my toughbook yesterday, and threw Win7 64-bit on it last night (after upgrading to 4GB). Most things seem to work. But, I still have a few devices not installed correctly.

    8086 0x2A08 --> Intel(R) Extended Thermal Model MCH
    ACPI\MAT0019 --> I guess this is for the HotKeys, not too concerned right now
    and, lastly, another ACPI\MAT0019 device (presumably also for the hotkeys)

    For the Tablet buttons, I used the MK4, Win7-64 bit driver.
    I sincerely doubt that I should use any MK4 driver for 8086 0xA08 (different processor/chipset).

    Any thoughts?

    Myself I. would stick with 32 bit but that's me. With windows 7 a few drivers will not install or work at all... not compatible. with it. I would install the hotkeys and see if they work. If not got to 32 bit. Any reason why 64 bit?

    Okay, you have to go to Panasonic and download everything in the Win 7 64 Bit downloads. Download and print the installation directions. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THEM VERBATIM. Once installed, go to, Control Panel, Device Manager.... When you get there, go to your problem devices... Right click on them and then click update driver.... Look for your panasonic drivers in util2. Don't go any further!!! Just select the primary directory and let the driver be found by Windows!!!!!! It will find every driver, install them, and you will be good to go. Just so you know, as I type this, Win 7, 64 Bit, CF19 MK IV, 8GB of RAM, everything works!!!!! Let me know if you have questions. As to why would you run 64 BIT, FAST!!!!!!!

    Unfortunately, I have the MK2, not the MK4.

    As for why I prefer to run the 64-bit version.....primarily because I HAVE the 64-bit version, not the 32-bit. Not all 32-bit versions support 4GB of RAM, also.

    Just go the way of gijoe4us. It will normally work :) If not, try the missing app or driver from an different newer model close to the age of ur model but with support of win7 or vista . ;)
    U can use an 32bit-Key also for 64bit and vice versa.

    I think he knows that, he was just saying to use the MK4 64 bit drivers because there is no other 64 bit drivers for any other MK's (MK1,2 and 3). Around here we do some wild things with drivers...stick around for a while and you will see... :D
