    Hi all,

Wanting to change out a MKIII locked (both Supervisor and User) BIOS motherboard, with a MK IV or V. This machine is an Intel Core vPRO 2. This CF is pristine!!! I would hate to use it for parts when I have a MK II, that I can pull some stuff of for cosmetics.

Let me know if you have had any dealings with this?

    Joe

mk4 should swap mk3 fairly straightforward.
The sound or wwan pcb can be slightly wonky to get the proper drivers.

    Yes Sir,

The CF-19 MK III. My MK IV has 33,460 hours, trying to put together the MK III as a MK IV and have a newer CF and keep the current MK IV as a backup.

That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure before before I changed the thread title.

I have a Mk2 with a crap touchscreen if you want it. Very low hours. It's headed to the trash otherwise as I have stripped parts off it for my Mk5.

I appreciate your offer!!! I was hoping to stay with the Intel Core vPro that is in the MK III, and hopefully find an i5 or better....

    On second thought,
What do you want for that board? I had hoped to upgrade this new locked one, but that may not be possible......

    Thank you!!
