    Good afternoon

I just purchased a GPS module for this toughbook and it doesn't seem to be working. Is there any way to tell if its being properly recognized by the OS?

    Thanks
    Carl

    1) It has to be visible in BIOS.
    2) For OS it's just a COM port, but it depends on GPS chipset. For u-blox you will have to install drivers.

Is the cable in upside down? It's a common mistake.

    Full model number of CF19?
    Brand of GPS?
    Photo of GPS?

Sorry for the late reply things have been crazy, it was an ID10T error. I was trying to use the GPS in the GOBI card, once I selected the Communications Port it took off running.

Thanks for everyone's help on everything
