I saw it just the other day, you know when my WD HDD crapped out after 6 months and I had to reload. I will never ever use anything except Hitachi drives in the future, except for Intel SSD's.

Let me search for it and I will post it for you.

OK, definitely not a dual screen

OK, managed to make some progress - it seems that I have a custom model with a custom BIOS that needs to be updated before the touchscreen will be recognised properly.

Unfortunately the bios seems to be locked so that it cannot be updated.

I think this is the end of the line, but will do some digging to see if it is possible to bypass the update lockout - either by locating intermediate BIOS updates to see if they work or by looking at hardware options to see if there are any switches on the motherboard.

I have V1.00L13 M14 BIOS and have been trying to run the windows based XP to Vista BIOS update bios_19_1_r070207.exe that fails with error 'This program will not run on this PC'.

From talking to some others in the know I may be able to get a bit further with the older DOS based BIOS update utility, but I can't find older versions to download.

Do any of you have some intermediary BIOS files that I can try to install?

    Thanks.

I juste Update my Toughbook CF-19 Mk1 with Seven Professionnal .
I use drivers for MK3 on the Panasonic download site
I use drivers of Mk1 for the sound but sound work befaore update with the original panasonic.

I can't find drivers for 1 but it's jsut because it's very very importante to Update the Bios of Mk1 XP to Vista if anyone can update the post of Install seven on CF-18 ;)

Dunno if you still need those BIOS files but some how I managed to find them, worked wonders for me...flashed from a bootable USB after upgrading to Windows 7 and it solved all my issues for the touch screen. Totally recognized now ;) Hit me up at [email protected] if you need them.
