    Hi,

    I've recently picked up a CF-19 from eBay - model number CF-19CHB23BE.

I've upgraded it to 2.5Gb RAM and have just ordered a 160GB drive to go into it.

When I install the new drive I'm debating moving up to Windows 7 and am wondering if it is worth doing.

I've been running Vista for years on my desktop and Win 7 since the early betas, but am wondering if there is any benefit in upgrading.

    Cheers,

    Julian

There is a slight improvement in the PC mark scores when upgraded from XP to Win 7. Please see this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=431682

I've found that WIN 7 works well with the CF-19.

    Hi,

OK apart from a slight increase in performance are there any extra touchscreen utils/goodies in Win7?

I would think the fact that it is not Vista would be a great reason to upgrade. I haven't heard a nad thing about W7 performance or stability as I have with Vista.... I won't run it personally.... But that's just my opinion... Well... Mine and a few million others....
