    That approach uses GPScomplete - could there be a config issue there, maybe caused by a Windows update?

    If the GPS device is not putting out correct NMEA data, perhaps the antenna or lead developed a problem, or the GPS module may be broken. Can you try another GPS, such as the Globalsat BU-353?

    I did a hard reset with battery and PSU out. It works for now.

    I'm curious, is there any ways/aftermarket with bigger antenna to boost the GPS reception on CF-19?

    Just use external USB GPS. USD 10-15.
