For a longer time now I'm trying to get an emissive keyboard for my CF-19 mk.III.

Doing a Google search, I stumbled across laptop fan ,keyboard, laptop fan ,keyboard who sells this keyboard for a reasonable price and is willing to ship to europe.

Did somebody allready bought some parts from them, they show allmost no company info, and I'm wondering who they are.

Two members have bought the "emissive KB" from him. He sent a rubber KB and when they complained he told them he sent what they ordered. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SELLER.

I was one and I have now a paypal claim with him. He send out rubber keyboards.
On a positive side, I have been able to test all three types.
The Rubber one is eeehm, less than funny if you try typing this post. You really need to be laying in the sand & mud to need this keyboard and not want to type more than a letter or five per minute.
The regular, non-backlit one is good. Decent travel, clear pressure point where it clicks etc. I sometimes had a cross-type e.g. when I intended to type the y but also hit the u. But that is more a specific CF-19 problem and with some practice that became rare.
The emissive chicklet keyboard is my favorite. It has a shorter key-travel-height-what-ever-you-call-it, that is something you have to like or not. I like it a lot. It might be a shorter travel, but it's a light and clear travel. You exactly feel when you have hit the key right, or when you just touched it, but it didn't click. That's nice, that makes for good, sure feeling when typing. But the keys are a bit seperated and on a small keyboard that is an advantage. This all enables me to type faster on the emissive keyboard, when compared to the regular keyboard. The rubber keyboard is more chiceling than typing IMHO.
So emissive chicklets are the way to go!

Nice, your small but fine CF-19 keyboard review !

Mine CF19 Mk.III came with the rubbererized keyboard and hence I use the keyboard not very much I wanted to change it as fast as possible. So I got the standard keyboard which works fine but I need illuminated keys.

Where did you get your emissive keyboard from when I may ask (heb jij jouw verlicht toetsenbord in nederland gekocht, zeer waarschijnlijk niet he ?)

No, I'm sorry, I got it for a good price from a canadian forum member. Not a like the Hongkong-joker. Then again, this guy delivered and quite fast as well.
They just don't sell these keyboards in the EU, I really don't understand why as these are really nice keyboards. The standard one's are good, nothing wrong with, but if you need/want backlit this is the way to go.
Try Rugged sollutions for a possible Dutch source, he's a member on this forums and has quite some parts.

Ooh, K-town dat is toch niet de band? :D

Don't start about paypal, they refused my claim. I'm going to complain about it again, but I know I will draw the shortest straw in the end.

It's that I'm not able but I would so much like to DDoS this clown. Just to get his bogus websites of the internet. !@#$%^&*()_+-=|}{[]:"';?><äåé®þüúíóáßðøæ©ñµç¿ (we Dutch know quite good how to curse, we have a very explicit and rather large vocabulary for that :D)
