Hi guys, looking to get cf19, now i notice that some of them have the name and model no on the bezel, and others have it on the keyboard panel, they both seem to be 1.06ghz so is it a region thing or is one better than other
    thanking you in advance

I appreciate the kind words... I try to be humble...

But yeah, I do have 2 - 5 million in inventory in Toughbooks at any given point... :)

+1 for Rob... he'll advise you on what you need, not what you want, which is the i5 CF-19. :p

The one with Panasonic logo on the keyboard panel is a MK1 Core Duo and the other one with it on the bezel is a MK2 with the Core 2 Duo. ..when new. On my MK2 I have it on both spots :D

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, we ALL want a shiny new MK5 CF-19, but who can afford that!?

FWIW, MK6's are coming out soon :)

Mk6? Got any idea on specs yet? Or at least some good rumors on that beast. It needs to have ATI graphics, lol.

Also welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook Forum. It may seem that we are a little nuts on here and yes we are...it's what happens when the Toughbook bug bits you...

I might hope that the mk6 has Ivybridge ULV processors?!
But beside a new processor, what is there to improve on the mk19?? :D
Will be strange not to have the latest & greatest anylonger, but I'm quite sure I will hang onto my mk5 for some time.

    Android, Tegra 3, FullHD 16:9, <1cm thickness... :)))))

    Seriously, I think MK6 will have Win8.

Hmm, if that would be the only change, I would be a bit disappointed. I'm certainly not in the market for a mk6, but I hope they might do a bit better than just Win8. What I've seen so far from Win8 doesn't impress me much. But who knows?

    It's for ?

I have MK1 for use with diagnostic car software and documentation with Seven 32, 4GB Ram ,64GB SSD and it's ok but i think it's necessary for me to upgrade because new software requiered better CPU .
