I have a CF19 and just bought (2) 2 GB modules. When I opened the cover on the CF19, I could only see the one module. My understanding is that there are two.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks

You will have to take off the base (bottom cover)of your cf19
Its beside the other hidden by the cover

    Thank you for the help.
I took the bottom off but I am having trouble with the orange "tape".
    How/what side do I disconnect?
I am not a tech (obviously).
    Thanks,
    Ron

Do you know how to disconnect the flat orange tape?

It has been a while since I messed around in there, but doesn't the cable lead to a plastic connector on the mainboard? Part of the connector is a 'bracket' (for a lack of a better term) which keeps the cable in the connector, this bracket must be pulled up a bit so that it loosens the cable. You will need to pry/pull the bracket up at the short sides of the connector, carefully, it is a fragile little plastic part. (Though I think I broke mine slightly and it works fine nevertheless.)

Yes it does. It is some kind of beige plastic connector. But it loosens but doesn't want to separate. I didn't know if there was a trick. It's pretty tight in there and I can't afford to break it. I assume that the orange tape is connected to half of the beige connector. But I have no idea.

Guys thank you very much for the help. I may just end up with changing one slot and leaving the other.

Again you guys are the best.

No..No .. don't do that there are two screws to both end. it must be unscrew otherwise you will damage the bracket.
