I have about 40 CF-19 our dispatch center is responsible for we are starting to get some failing touchscreens. Does anybody know what the average lifespan of them are. These are used 24/7 and I'm trying to figure out if now is the time to start stocking up for the whole fleet.

I'm not surprised these things are def being roughly treated and we are just trying to stay ahead of the curve. We are noticing its mostly the bottom half of the screen that stars to fail and will not hold calibration

Where I work too our 19's run 24/7 363 days a year. Ours are anywhere from 2 to 5 years old but no problems yet. Well one....out of the 16 guys that us them I am the only one that uses the stylus. The rest uses a black pen. Can you guess what the screen looks like

Yeah very few in my fleet use the stylus which is the other reason we were wondering about predicting failures.

I really don't think there is really a way too. It all really comes down to the person using it. A lot of people think just because it's a Toughbook it's tough. When it is but you still need to us so common sense.

I've seen almost new toughbooks with non-working touchscreen. I think they don't like storage. Had problems with machines not being used in autumn+winter.

I would also like to know what mark they are, I've had a couple of Mk2 fails and of course Mk1's are bad.
