Panasonic advertised that toughbooks will be released with Windows 7 OS. Does anyone know if they have released the drivers for toughbooks yet and if not when they will be released?

Yes, they have been available for about a month
Only for the latest models that are about one year old or less
We have quite a few threads here with people testing W7 in older models

I had XP on my cf-19 when i got it, and upgraded to win 7. I can not calibrate my touchscreen and none of my bottont on the front work. I tried downloading the vista drivers, but no luck. So far I am happy with win 7. just waiting till the drivers come out, if they do.

Try the win xp touchscreen driver for the cf-19. The xp driver for the cf-28 works fine with win7 in my cf-28.

To open the .exe file and avoid the "machine does not support" message
    Install WinRar
It has the abillity to unextract to a folder

Don't forget about the compatibility mode either. Do a search here on CF19 W7 Drivers and you will find some great reading.

I still cannot calibrate the touchscreen with W7 on my cf-30 mk-2, so some things work and others don't ,Others here might of figured out the cf-19
My cf-19 with W7 is a digitizer model and the standard drivers on the W7 work fine and calibrate, I have not tried touchscreen as I just have a digitizer

I downloaded the drivers and they are not the right ones. Currently i can't even change the brightness settings, not even from the control panel. That is the driver I need.

I have a touchscreen 19FHGAXAM which am trying to use as a digitizer to capture signatures on-screen. Results from my various inquiries indicate this might be possible in view of the fact that it is a software (make that DRIVER) problem rather than a hardware one. I came accross this http://fun2pawn.com/toughbook/4.JGP which show a 19FHGAGAM running Win 7 RC and showing Tablet Input Panel (TIP) a capability of true digitized tablets. An unofficial but authoritative source said that Vista drivers will work with Win 7 to make this possible; but Panasonic does not have those drivers for Win 7 yet and may not have it at all.
I do not know how to post a link so If the above link does not work, try item No. 350305975372 on ebay to see what am talking about.

Control panel /Programs/Turn windows features on or off ,its called tablet pc components, make sure the box is checked

And for best results with windows 7 use windows 7 drivers, even if they are not for the same Mk# as yours, they are available for the mk3 under w7 upgrade programs from the panasonic.jp downloads site

    Brightness is hotkeys
You may need to install the misc, or new misc driver first

Where can i get the misc drivers from. I just want to control the brightness of my screen. I should be able to do it from the control panel, but there is not an option for it.
