Just a quick question about battery charging, I've got 2 x CF-19's that I carry around with me 5 days a week fir work.
I've also got a Lind CF-LND8024FD vehicle charger, most of the time one of the 2 laptops, depending on usage, is plugged into to keep the battery topped up, is thus doing any damage to the battery/s keeping topped up all the time?
Thanks

tl;dr: yes, most batteries age quicker when they are kept in either empty (<20%) or full (>80%) mode _all_ the time.
It's good to calibrate (deplete and fill again) them every couple of months.
bios setting for high temp mode might also help a tiny bit (stops charging at 80%).Shawn likes this. -
The bios is set to auto i think, I'll check and change to high temp.
The battery/s are never charged when I'm using the laptops/s, so the batteries do get discharged

I've checked and In both bios the temp is set to auto, I don't know of they have internal temp sensors for charging when laptop is switched off?
Thanks -
I'm sure they don't. Also cf-19's batteries are cheap now, so you can use them as you want
