Did anyone tried CF-19 battery on their CF-18 laptop?

    CF-18 Li-ion Battery (CF-VZSU30B) 7.4V 7.65Ah
    CF-19 Li-ion Battery (CF-VZSU48) 10.65V 5.7Ah
They are both look the same shape (the CF-19 battery needs little mod.)

Also, is AC adapter model CF-AA1653A J4 (15.6V 5A) will be ok to work with my CF-18?

    I have CF-18 MK4 (CF-18KJHZXBM)
    Thanks

The AC adapter is interchangeable between CF-18, CF-19, CF-29, CF-30 and others.

The CF-18 battery will not work in a CF-19. It gives a red battery light and won't boot. By mistake I put a CF-18 battery in my CF-19. Don't about trying it the other way.

The 29 battery will work in the 30 and the 31, but the capacity isn't as good...

Just an FYI to take this topic further off topic :D

I haven't had a problem with mine. I swapped the batteries out of my CF-18's to use in my CF-19 Mk1 and didn't have any issues.

Correct the 18 battery works in the 19 but the 19 wont fit the 18. There are
two raised points on the 19 battery that make it not fit the 18. Also the volts
of the 19 battery is higher then what the 18 needs.

The adapters are not the fussy, I have run my 18 and 19 from 12-20 volts with
    no problems.

Somehow I thought this was the case but I don't have an 18 in stock here to test the theory...

    And 19 ones won't work in 18's but 18's work in 19's

    Thanks

I can cut those two raised points on the CF-19 battery no problem at all.
The question is, am I going to damage the CF-18 if using the CF-19 battery with it?

The pins are there for a reason I wouldn't risk a good 19 battery and/or my
18 on this test. As cheap as the right battery is on ebay you'd be better of
    going that route.

You are right. Those pins are there for a reason.

    Thanks everyone.

OK, so I had to try it again and the CF-18 battery works just fine in my CF-19. I have no idea what happened before but, I remember the red battery light and thinking "WTH, this was just working fine?" and then realizing I had grabbed the wrong battery. Maybe the battery was low.
