I have CF-19AFUC61M mk5. If I install Win7 32bit touchscreen work ok. If I install Win Xp SP3 touchscreen don't work. Of course touchscreen is enabled in bios.
Touchscreen driver v.1.0.0.4_19a_19b_Xp_ss9894 from official website don't work. When I try to install I have error message "This machine does NOT support".
Automatic install of drivers with toughbook 19 mk5 Win Xp driver bundle 19ab_mk5_xp don't help.
I don't have yellow unknown device in device manager.
    Any suggestion will be appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook forum

Just guessing here but I bet you would need a bios downgrade. This is sounding just like what happens when we upgrade from a 19MK1 XP to a 19MK1 W7. Also the drivers will not be compatible. Mind me asking why use XP.

It's a dual touch model, so you have to look for a dual touch driver. I'm not sure it does exist for XP as well as I can't imagine why do you have to use XP on mk5 :)

I use this machine for automotive diagnostics. Some software--hardware interfaces work only in Win Xp. Other work better in Win Xp than Win 7. For other software, OS don't care. Well, for this some software I still need Win Xp.
I can't imagine someone use panasonic CF-19 for internet surfing or autocad. :)

It's strange. My clients - car service stations use Win7 now. Yes, they require Win7, not Win10 because of compatibility issues, but not XP anymore :)
Try to use virtual machine through Virtualbox.
But, if you still need a real WinXP installation, search for a correct driver. Hope you'll find it.

There is a official XP mode for windows 7 from Microsoft.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8002

If you unzip the exe file it won't give the machine does not support error and then you can load the driver manually. You will just have to play with the drivers. Maybe see if the maker of the touch panel has one.

You need to install the driver thru device manager not by an executable file.
