    Hi all
Many thanks to all who have posted info on this forum regarding the CF-19 toughbooks, I have recently acquired a nice clean (almost) unmarked mk6 CF-191CCC7DA from ebay for AU$600. Dual touch, Win10, 240GB ssd, 8GB ram, gps, rubber backlit keyboard and has 3400 hours on the clock. I got the front buttons to work with the one click bundle drivers and the gps worked out of the box with MS maps and Oziexplorer.

I've also updated the BIOS to V6.00L14, upgraded the ram to 16GB, ordered a fingerprint reader and chiclet emissive keyboard as the rubber one sucks to type on. Main use is for automotive, running Picoscope, Techstream and service manuals, but also for remote 4WD travel as a navigation backup with Oziexplorer.

I've tried to find more info using the model code on the sites linked on this forum but nothing is coming up, can anyone tell me any more info on this particular build please?

Also, which fingerprint driver should I use for this when I install it, or is it included in the one click bundle I used previously and just need to re-run it after? The only one I found on this site is for the mk7; https://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/search?q=finger&button=&dc[]=002001&p1=111&p2=&oc=&lang=

    Cheers
    Adrian

Thanks, I'll try that when the fingerprint reader arrives. So there should be native support in win 10 for it?
    Cheers

I recommend SASPlanet instead of (or in addition to) OziExplorer. I've used Ozi for many years, but SASPlanet is a modern way to navigate with it's different map sources (satellite ones are extremely usable).

For anyone reading along, finally got the fingerprint reader working after much going around in circles, installed the Authentec WBF driver v1.6.1.341 from MS update catalogue https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=WBF advanced mode.
Win 10 recognised the reader straight away and set up Hello. No password req or special trickery in bios. Extract the cab file and point device manager at the folder. Works great.
    Winner winner chicken dinner!
