    Hello! I bought myself cf-19 mk8 0 hours.
Toughbook shut down randomly when in bios. No lights nothing. Tried everything cmos battery out no battery no charger removed everything from machine nothing helps. I have working mk6 with me took front button plate wirh ribbon tested on mk6 and works. With multimeter i got 0V into power button, mk6 i had 3.3V. all fuses on board are okay. Voltage is 16.06 from charger freerun and 15.87 when connected to main board.

Can somebody help me with schematics, guide me somehow how to fix this or where to look please.

I don't have any schematics for anything that new.

First thing I would check the the port that the charger plugs into.

I compared biggest stuff with working mk6 unit easy stuff is not problem. Main board electronics is problem. Mk6 seems mostly same inside.

Ok :) Test mk8 with mk6's charged battery and whether mk8's battery is charged. Easy stuff to check before disassembly :))

You have to make sure it's dead. Burn and drown.
