CF-19 shutting down randomly. I have another one stumping me.

I checked the battery-100%, AC Adapter with no issues, power settings set to never. Doesnt get hot, case is cold. Figured a bad setup so reloaded laptop to Panasonic spec with their recovery disk. It did the 130 windows updates without issue then I went to install NET 3. and it turned off. When turning back on, it was not a resume it was a straight cold boot. No errors in event log. No mini dump found. Diagnostics were without errors.

    Ideas???

Computers are logical....if this happened at net 3 then net 3 is the cause. Orrr more likely something net 3 is using/trying to use.

What Mark19 and O.S. are ya using? Were you on ac when this occurred? Thinking acpi??????? or as Shawn said it's hardware.

heat, ram, wifi, bad load-out on net3.

Is roll back to Service Pack 2 a possibility for you.

    Best of luck.

I had a cf51 with a bad DC connector on the motherboard. It would just shut off at random times. Drove me nuts until I bumped the power cable and figured it out.
