1) Yes i know what the cost....
2) I need a new Laptop for me. Some nice one for SDR on remote Place. No Power Supply, No Power Socket, Rain, Snow and heat in the Summer ....
I see the are a brick. But how about the Hardware?
Concealed Mode to switch PC into "silent mode" ?!
6.500cd/m² reflective brightness, depending on light conditions -> hmm like the E Ink Dispays?
I cant find the max Display Resolution. Does the have anything to hide?
Up to 18 hours battery life / Long battery life of up to 10 hours -> and in realty?
10h for a Tablet is very poor.
and a HDD for a product like that is insane... My Distributor offer me only Notebooks with a HDD.
I see the use a real 3G / 4G Card. Its possible to chance? Here in Europe the technology chance quite every year... My old Thinkpad support normally only 2G so I got an Russian Bios Mode and chance it to 3G.
Firewire (IEEE1394a) -> possible to deactivate?
External Antenna: x2 (Dedicated 50 ohms coaxial connector) -> for what?!
Integrated hardware security lock slot -> ?!
GPS -> a real GPS with the old school NEMA Output?
I know i need some more Month to save money for....
Thanks!
EDIT: My Distributor show me some more specs:
PANASONIC Toughbook CF-19: 1024 x 768 / XGA
PANASONIC Toughbook CF-31: 1024 x 768 ( XGA )
WTF a Joke????

Are you looking for New or Used?..What price range are you in?
What is SDR???
CF30 or CF31 will never get you that high display brightness..
Late model CF19 mk5 and mk6 are the only models with that bright of a screen
Those are the correct display resolution specs...
CF19 and CF30 Toughbooks are designed for poor conditions but not high resolution gaming.
CF19 and CF30 have hardware GPS with NEMA output..
Firewire (IEEE1394a) can be disabled in BIOS...
5 or 6 hours battery life is probably closer to real world for a CF19.
Gobi cards work well in CF19's The newer Gobi cards support 4G.
External antennas are for use inside a vehicle like police car. -

only new!
CF-19 ~3500€ exkl Tax for the highest avaiable Model.
CF-31 ~4000€ exkl Tax.
SDR = Receving a "Radio" Signal with Hardware and the Pc show it on the Screen.
I am not interested in Gaming but the Resolution is extreme low. For example I want see the GPS Position on an Aircraft and see other Aircraft in the Air.
The question is what is on the other end of the connector? Wifi/ 3G/ GPS/ SDR Radio....
Are there any "free" PCI-E Slots from any leftover? For example in my Thinkad there was a free slot for Wireless USB who is not used in Europe. So i place there an "Cardreader" in with 2 SD Cards. -
Other end of what connector? There is a pass though connector that mates up to the optional dock that is mounted in a vehicle.
No free pci-e slots if you have a 4g card installed.
SD reader is built in.
That's the best resolution you will get in a fully rugged Toughbook CF19 or CF30..
Check out a CF54 semi rugged for better resolution.
Where are you located and what is your native language?..
Things can be difficult to understand when translated. -
I think you have to wait some years for that fantastic device you want

The Problems are in the most case that the German Spec sheets are pure translated. Sometime the are 100% different to the English. -
-
Since your first message it was clear you had a good teacher-surwife of English, so you don't have to prove that by therms in your replays

no is not!
The Device isnt Waterproof. I say it again and again and again... I need 99,9999999.....% Waterproof during Work.
There are only the 2 Laptop Style Device from Toshiba with Win. -
Toughbooks do not have SMA connector, unless you buy the optional dock that I mentioned.
You ask about a CF19 and a CF30..NOT a GETAC....I answered your question exactly as you ask it.....
Toughbooks are relatively SLOW and old technology with graphics. That is the trade off for a military spec fully rugged laptop.A CF19 or CF30 will NEVER be as fast as a Thinkpad...
I was not trying to criticize you personally. I was hoping BarrMaley would jump in and help you in your native language. It's always better to avoid translation and second languages.
I speak English as my native and only language. I have for over 45years. Your questions are difficult to understand in English, to a native English language person.
Your questions are very vague.
BTW it is term not therm and reply not replay......The spelling errors change the entire statement.
therm is about temperature and replay is watch something again........
I strongly suggest you go to the main Toughbook site and choose the country and language you can understand.
