I've got the above combination sitting on my bench and I can't get the aircard to connect at all.

This unit came to me from one of our contract agencies with a raw image (basic Win7 install), and I put our standard image onto it. After installing all the appropriate drivers for the hardware, and deleting those that aren't for this model, everything was working, except the aircard. Watcher showed "Rogers" for a carrier. I loaded the AT&T firmware and drivers onto the card, and installed the AT&T flavor of Watcher. I set everything for our private APN, deleted the AT&T predefined profile, and everything seemed to work.

The unit came back to me, and all I see is "Searching" in Watcher. I've swapped out the SIM with a known-good SIM, and there's no change. I'm seeing 4 bars of signal (which is normal), but it still is "searching" for either signal or APN.

    Full Model: CF-19AHUAX1M

Try to switch between 2G/3G/4G in Watcher.

    Did that, and nothing changes.

Now it's going back and forth between "searching" and "no service". I'm contacting the carrier now.

Is there an option in Watcher to set your network manually?
Also you may want to try another version of Watcher or even try to use Windows connection manager instead of Watcher.

Try to reset the air card watcher and reenter the APN. If it is still doesn't work. Uninstall the watcher and delete the previous setting. Then install it again.

Update: After installing and uninstalling and doing everything short of a full reimage, I threw up my hands and told them to call the Equipment vendor, since the unit was still under warranty.

You need to match the Watcher version to the specific QMI or DIP firmware version. I played around for days on an MC7700 I bought from eBay. Sierra Wireless support basically points you to go to your carrier for support. I ended up searching the ends of Google to find various Watcher versions for download. And once it works, don't change anything. I once upgraded the firmware and broke the Watcher.
