Is this a good deal for a CF-19CDBAFVE? I can get it for €399 (or that is what they are asking for it, it might get less) but I'm wondering how slow the Core Duo 1.06 ULV processor will be... I know I'm spoiled by my mk5, but this one will be used by my wife. She likes to watch online tv and series and I'm not sure the Intel GMA950 will be fried by that.
It should have the Digitizer, which is nice but I would have preferred to have the touchscreen. They have upped the memory to 1,5Gb but I'll upgrade that to 4Gb if that is possible within reasonable cost.

    What do you guys think?

In USA money I paid around $300 for my MK1 and $400 for my MK2 . Both play movies no problem at all for me and the MK1 will take 4GB memory also.

Just remember the Mk1 is 32 bit only, processor limitation of the core duo, Mk2 up is core 2 duo and 64 bit.

    Mk1 has Intel® 945GM 128mb shared video memory

The CF-30 and CF-19 Mk1 have come way down in price but I don't know what your market looks like over there. I know I haven't seen another Toughbook in Saudi Arabia besides mine and couple I sold to guys on the rig. So they are kind of thin over here.

Hardest I have ran my 19Mk1 is with the game F.E.A.R. Every thing on it ran fine. ( There is something I haven't figured out and the game crashes at the same spot at the end of the first chapter. But game play never lags, watching movies off of a hard drive has been fine also)

That is a very good price. I have paid about €700 for mine. which is like new and it had oem GPS i it.

The only thing I see wrong with it is the OS as far as I can rember when I was look for mine. none of that them came with windows 7, it was all windows xp.

I can tell you it should be windows XP Tablet PC Edition it should be on that CF-19 ( the 2nd last letter is for the OS and its the same as mine) and not windows 7. I would be a concern that windows 7 is not genuine.

Its a very good price at the same time.

yes it has digitizer screen as it original came with windows XP tablet PC edition.

This one doesn't have a GPS, but I won't complain as the pictures look very good. It almost looks like new. I know pictures can be deceiving, but its worth a call and perhaps an hour and a half drive there to watch them in real life.
The moves are streamed movies through internet, something her Core 2 Duo Macbook pro has considerable difficulties with as it blows the fan up to 6000rpm. No such problem with a CF-19, but it will throttle down when it becomes to hot.

There is one thing I can say as I do it a lot. I have a slingbox for streaming tv over the internet and I use the CF-19 to watch the tv and I have streamed it in DVD quality for the slingbox and never had the cf-19 get even hot.

The speck of my CF-19 as per my sig.
