I have a CF-19MK1 running Windoze XP Pro.
All was fine till 2-3 days ago, when it decided to quit going to sleep, with an error that the touchpad driver is preventing standby mode. Hibernate fails with the same message. Says the driver may need to be updated, but the latest driver from Panasonic (Fujitsu) is installed....
Help!

Did you install / download any new programs or hardware ? Are you using XP Pro or W7 ?
-
Per the first line of my original post, Windoze XP Pro.
Nothing new. -
Are standby and hibernation enabled in Windows?

Problem resolved itself...
BUT, now have no screen brightness control, tablet buttons or keyboard.......
Grrr....

Hotkeys not working is a symptom of having the wrong version video driver. Toughbook drivers are customized for Panasonic, and you should not let Windows update them. Try re-installing the OEM drivers for video then touchpad.

All panasonic drivers on this machine.
Uninstalled and reinstalled all hotkey drivers, and that fixed it.
Thanks!
