Hey all, I have a CF-19CHBAXBM running XP that has been giving me blue screen errors and per Geek Squad needs an OS reinstal. Only problem is somehow I ended up with a CF-19mk3 XP tablet recovery DVD instead of the proper recovery disc. Panasonic does not have the mk1 XP backup image DVD as an option on their DVD order webpage. Any advice on where I can get the proper disc or on a work around?
    Alex

Thank you! 5 minute phone call with Heartland and the DVD should be here by the end of the week. I was starting to have nightmares about having to switch back to my old Acer.

Do you have a part number for the recovery disks? I need to order a set as well.

Just give them a call, you will not need the part number just the full model number and serial number. The cost is $35.00 + at least $20.00 s/h

Hopefully they haven't started charging that much for shipping. When I ordered my disk it was just the $35

Thanks toughasnails! I called Heartland Services and highly recommend them. I went to the BIOS for the model and serial number of my Toughbook MK1, as someone had peeled the stickers off of the bottom of the machine. I read the numbers to the rep at Heartland, and they had a DVD on my desk the next day! That is really good, as I am in Alaska. Most vendors will say they are shipping next day and then I won't see it for 2 or 3 days. Using this disk, I was able to to take the machine from zero to complete in less than a half hour. Awesome! $35 for the disk, plus $15 for shipping. Well worth it.

    Welcome to the Toughbook Forum
Most don't understand how easy it is to use the recovery disk...it's the only way to do it. Glad every thing worked out good for you.
