Any one know if you can swap out a CF-27 keyboard for a CF-25 one?

I haven't looked at the connections personally but I have never seen them listed as swapping. I know the most keyboards swap between the CF-27 to 31. I don't think the newer emissive keyboards will work (keys should but not the lights, not sure haven't tried it). All rubber ones should swap and lights work, all standard keyboards should work, the early CF-28 emissive will work but won't light up.

Thanks ADOR I have the 25 one out so I shall pull the 27 rubber one and see. I like the 25 keyboard action so it would be nice to have it on. Also its fun just to see if it will, just changed my 1st screen and it worked :D made me feel good.

Okay, the answer is No. The Arrows cut out on the right lower bit is not deep enough to take the 25 keyboard.

Thanks Cleve, do you do PayPal? let me know the cost, if you need a rubber one I have one.

We did not loose power at our house though many did. The Eye went right over us so we did not get to much damage or rain, just minor stuff. Just glad I didn't live on the coast or in New York, scary. Bob.

I remember the biggest storm ever in Holland, 2007/2008. I was in Den Bosch, and the place was deserted, i walked inside a pub, and talked with the owner who was boarding up his windows, got a free beer, and it was dark. The atmosphere in that little pub was kinda un-natural. a strange atmosphere. It was dark outside, and we heard the storm... talking about the "end of the world". yeah man....We, the Dutch people are not used to these kind of natural fenomenas...The storm was indeed the biggerst storm ever... When i walked back to central station in Holland, the winds were soo strong, that i got blown back, yep. i am a grown up man, 95 kilos, and even i got blown away by the strong winds... I love storms..... Anyhow, cheers to the poor people in new york and the coastal area.

This is totaly not about toughbooks, but a storm... yeah....

I work with a Dutch guy, think he is "Blown Away" with the storm. Lucky only had a few problems, but he now has a few years supply of wood for his furness. Think I could sell him a toughbook or two as he likes good engineering.

Here in Italy we never saw big storms, especially on the east coast that has a close sea, i think it's scary...
