Hello Everyone!
We have a CF-27 that the modem got zapped in and I have the matching (according to the modem installed info on the CF-27) replacement in hand (Aztech MP3930V-W).
Sooooo how to I get it outta hand and into this mini fortress called a CF-27 LOL.
Been a BAD week and not even going to start removing screws without knowing what I'm doing...it would probably pop open like one of those fake peanut cans...![]()
Many Thanks!
Cheryl

It's in there pretty deep. You have to remove the lid that the keyboard mounts in to get to it. The good news is Toughbooks are put together like a quality electronic device, not like a notebook computer. Everything is held together with phillips screws of varying sizes, there's none of that flimsy snap-together plastic crap that everyone else uses.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to check posts.
Gravitar or anyone do you guys have an exploded illustration
or step by step directions on how I go about the disassembly to get to the modem?
TIA
