my "CF-27 Series Product Recovery CD-rom" is not recognized. The CF-27 has W2000 on it, the HDD is NTFS formatted and the cd loads W98, not W98 SE even, does anyone know if its possible to get a recovery cd for the 500mhz cf-27, MK IV's I believe, basically a W2000 Recovery CD. If anyone has one of these cd's it would be greatly appreciated.

    CF-27LBAGHEM 500MHZ PIII, W2000 CANT LOAD OPSYSTEM,
    CF-27EA6GCAM 266MHZ PII W98SE BAD SCREEN.

Well, I get the message, this is closed, no recovery CD for PIII 500mhz MK4 CF-27's, it was a shot in the dark anyways. Loaded XP Home on it, works like a charm, even the touchscreen does.

Your only shot at that would be www.heartlandsi.com... They have recovery disks... But if you have the COA on the bottom... You might be better off loading it from scratch... It takes longer... But then you know everything is right. I had to do that with a CF-28, 600MHz last night...

Wait you said it doesn't recognized the CD? Try it in another pc, if it recognizes it then you have a bad CD drive or hardware issues somewhere else. That is my knowledge from fixing pcs. Sometimes certain cds work but then others don't, alot of times the CD drive just needs to be replaced. Happened to my friends server a while back. Had a error halfway thru the OS install.
