Use the CF-28 Mk 1 touchscreen driver and it will work fine. Most of the information is already in the stickies and the panasonic driver website.

It really depends on your version of CF-27. The CF-27 PII 333MHZ and the CF-27 PIII 500MHZ will share the same driver as the CF-28 they use a PS/2 interface. Earlier CF-27's will use a serial Interface touchscreen and will require a different driver, you can use the PDRC or CF-M34 driver for these units.

Yea i think i am going to have to use the M-34 as none of the other drivers are working. I tried using the fuji touch panel to no avail although i bet i can use it for calibration after i get the actual touchscreen working. Ill keep ya'll updated. Thanks

If yall will follow this link and the associated websites you will find it contains instructions for installing the touchscreen driver.

The later CF-27s will run XP just fine, I have Win XP Pro SP3 running on my CF-27 Mk IV. Touchscreen works great.

I can tell you that the internal mini-pci slot only works with the aztec dialup modem. Whether this is a bios limit or a physical limit no one has been able to make it work. If you want internal wireless you will have to use a shorty pcmcia wifi card such as a Cisco 350 card and then you will have to fabricate an antenna mount. There is a sticky at the top of the forum that deals with this, you can use it for ideas but remember the Cf-27 and CF-28 are quite different.

Welcome to the forum, glad that we could help.

Thanks, It does seem to have a antenna, but from what ive read, its useless bcause it was meant or a certain dial p carrier that is no longer supported now, correct? I wonder if there would be a way to take the hidden pcmcia cisco card and wire it up to the fatory installed antenna? Currently im using a microsoft wireless notebook adapter and it sticks out the side, kinda defeating the urpose of the door. Anyways, Thnks for the help.

You are correct, however there is a thread that deals with trimming the analog cellular antenna to the length required for 2.4 Ghz.

I have the CF-27 300MHz version and the MK1 CF-28 driver worked fine for the touchscreen.
