I've a CD drive in the CF-28, and a floppy in the Cf-27..I have a need to upgrade the OS in the -27, what is the procedure to swap them out? Do they just "pop" out? Or is there disaasembly required?

And by the way, the CF-M34 lives!! The new HD ribbon was the trick!!

    Again, thanks for the help!

For the 28, there is a lever on the bottom, just push the locking slider and turn the handle and the unit pops out ( be sure the pod bay door is open [just like Star Trek])

Not sure about the 27, but imagine it is similar.

CF-27 slide on the bottom, no lock like on the 28.
The 27 has to be powered off when changing, the 28 you can do it live.

If the units are on... before ejecting make sure you click on the litle gren arrow in the system tray to disconnect it. If we are playing by the rules here.

FWIW... The drive bays on the CF-27, 28 & 29 all handle the same stuff.... Except for the LS-120 drive I think....
