I have two Cf-27 that I'm trying to get the touchscreens to work on but I don't know what models I have. There is no sticker on the bottom of either one. The info is not in the BIOS and I read somewhere that the model info is under the battery but I didn't find anything under there either....does anyone know how I might be able to find out the model numbers?

My real goal is to get the touchscreens to work but I've been unsuccessful just randomly trying to apply drivers. The BIOS shows a touchscreen option under serial port B but Windows(I'm running Win2k) doesn't show a unknown device requiring a driver. I thought applying a BIOS flash might help but I don't want to attempt it without knowing exactly what model I have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

Even though you have a CF-27 read the CF-28 F.A.Q, It will have instructions on how to install the touchscreen driver and it works exactly the same for both models. The driver you need to install for the "Mice and other pointing devices" hardware. Get it from Modley's site in the CF-27 folder. As confusing as that is,, install the new driver for the "Mice and other pointing devices". Follow the instruction exactly and the touch screen will work for you.
To calibrate go to the directory and open the folder labeled mouse2k, and run
    "CALWIN.EXE".
